Terms of Service
Last updated: November 28, 2025
1. Introduction
Welcome to Kimo (“Kimo”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). Kimo is an informational service that helps users discover where movies and TV shows are available to watch legally online.
By accessing or using kimo.watch (the “Site”) or any related services (collectively, the “Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service (“Terms”). If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
You must be able to form a binding contract under applicable law to use Kimo. If you are under the age of majority in your jurisdiction, you should only use Kimo with the involvement of a parent or legal guardian.
2. What Kimo Does
- Lets you search for movies and shows.
- Uses third-party APIs and public data to look up where titles may be available.
- Prioritises free, ad-supported providers (for example: Tubi, Pluto TV, Roku Channel, Plex, Adult Swim) when possible.
- Links out to official provider websites or apps (deep links).
Kimo does not:
- Host or stream any video or audio.
- Control playback, ads, or availability on third-party platforms.
- Sell, rent, or license any content.
All actual streaming and playback happens on third-party services that have their own terms and policies.
3. No Legal Advice, No Guarantees of Accuracy
Kimo is for general informational purposes only. We try to keep information accurate and fresh, but:
- Availability, pricing, and “free with ads” status can change at any time.
- Third-party APIs may return incomplete or incorrect data.
- Some providers may require sign-in or a free/paid account even if a title is shown as “free”.
You should always verify the details on the provider’s own website or app before renting, buying, or subscribing.
Kimo does not provide legal advice or any professional advice of any kind.
4. Your Responsibilities
When using Kimo, you agree to:
- Use the Service only for lawful purposes.
- Respect the terms, policies, and regional restrictions of any third-party provider you visit.
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, attack, or abuse Kimo’s infrastructure or the third-party APIs we rely on.
- Not use Kimo in any way that could damage, disable, or overload the Service.
You are responsible for your own internet connection, devices, and any fees charged by providers you choose to use.
5. Third-Party Services and Links
Kimo links to external services (such as streaming platforms, APIs, or donation/payment infrastructure). Those services are not controlled by us.
We are not responsible for:
- The content, availability, pricing, ads, or behavior of any third-party website or app.
- Any personal information you provide to them.
- Any damage or loss caused by your use of third-party services.
You should review the terms and privacy policies of each third-party service you use.
6. Donations
Kimo may display cryptocurrency addresses or other donation methods so users can voluntarily support the project.
- Donations are entirely optional and non-refundable.
- We do not process credit cards or bank payments directly.
- For crypto, transactions and fees are handled by the relevant blockchain/network and are outside our control.
7. Intellectual Property
The Kimo name, logo, design, and site layout are owned by us or our licensors.
All movie, series, channel, and platform names, logos, posters, and artwork:
- are the property of their respective owners, and
- may be used on a nominative or informational basis to identify content or services.
If you believe any material on Kimo infringes your rights, please contact legal@kimo.watch with details.
8. No Warranties
The Service is provided on an “AS IS” and “AS AVAILABLE” basis, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied.
Without limiting the above, we do not warrant that:
- The Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free.
- The information shown will always be accurate, complete, or up to date.
- Any particular content will be available on any specific provider.
You use Kimo at your own risk.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Kimo along with its owner will not be liable for any:
- indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or
- loss of profits, data, goodwill, or other intangible losses,
arising out of or related to your use of (or inability to use) the Service, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.
Where liability cannot be excluded, it will be limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Changes to the Service
We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We may also update or change these Terms.
When we make material changes, we will update the “Last updated” date. Your continued use of Kimo after changes become effective means you accept the new Terms.
11. Termination
We may restrict or terminate your access to the Service at any time if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms or misused the Service.
You may stop using Kimo at any time.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Where required by local law, consumers may also benefit from mandatory protections of their country of residence.
